A prompt for every day of the year
Today's blog will list sites that give you a prompt for every day of the year, in several formats: phone app; email; website etc. Any day that you are stuck, you can check in and see which prompts inspire you.

You can download a .pdf that organises writing prompts by the days of the year. This will help you come up with seasonal stories, that you can polish, and then perhaps submit for publication in the next year (journals usually work 3 months or more in advance, so send the stories in 6-9 months time for next year.
If you prefer your prompts in the form of apps, you could download this app onto your phone, and it will give you random prompts to write about. They focus on free writing ( a great way to simply jump in and write.

Open the website or the app, choose the time, choose one of five topics (Career, Happiness, Life path, Self-help, Creative thinking), and start writing. Once the time is up, there'll be a quote related to the topic. You can use the quote as a second prompt and keep writing for a minute or two.'
