Bat Women - Finding Inspiration

I've been working on a new article today, based on an interview with someone I worked with. My colleague rescues bats in her spare time, and I was able to interview her and her partner, about the work they do, and to take pictures of the bats in their care. I've followed up with extensive research, and now have a first draft of the article ready.

It's reminded me that there are stories all around us. If something grabs your interest, chances are it will interest someone else, and be worth writing about. Finding a suitable market is the next step, as the piece can then be tailored to suit the market. If you're new to writing, write the article, and submit it complete, offering to make changes to give it a slant if required.

There is so much out there to write about. Now all I have to do is find the right market for this piece...
