The internet has a wealth of information and advice for any author, from the nuts and bolts of writing through to writing prompts, advice and information on how to get published. I'm using Twitter increasingly at present, and I keep discovering new resources through it.
The danger of course is getting so caught up in writer's sites that you don't have time to write!
